Ken Haas

My name is Ken Haas, I live in Treynor Iowa, with my wife Wendy and our two children Chase and Madalyn. I am a 14 year veteran of the Iowa State Patrol where I serve as a Trooper and a member of the Criminal Interdiction Unit. I spent six years in the Nebraska Army National Guard, and received a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
I have been hunting for most of my life and have been blessed to have had one of the best bird dogs in the country. My German Shorthair pointer "Too," won the "Cabelas/ Innoteck" High point dog of the year in 1999. I am an avid whitetail hunter that started to film hunts six years ago.

Myself, and then team member Cory Hackett paired up to win the top honors in the first season of "Bill Jordan's Whitetail Freaks." I have since went on to Shoot numerous deer on video, and pick up friend, and new filming/ hunting partner Kris Lappala. I am starting my fourth season with "Whitetail Freaks."

I owe my start in the industry to none other than
Lee and Tiffany Lakosky, and good friend "Big George" Novasel, camera man for Lee and Tiffany. They intern introduced me to hunting legends Don and Kandi Kisky. Together, along with several other top notch guys, we put together one of the best shows on television, "Bill Jordan's Whitetail Freaks."

Sincerely, Ken Haas
